ALCO and its affiliates offer church members and the community free health screenings, seminars and workshops, healthy eating tips, and referrals to medical professionals when further evaluation is needed.

Past and Ongoing Activities

Cancer Awareness: Our Cancer Awareness seminars feature an exciting day of worship, prayer and education. Leading experts in the medical field convene to share vital information about cancer prevention, testing, and treatment. Health Fairs: Our health fairs offer free health screenings, information, informative vendors, and door prizes.

Ongoing Health Screenings: Health screenings are vital to detecting and getting early treatment for life threatening diseases such as cardiovascular disease. All screenings are free.

Partnerships with Leading Health Organizations: ALCO works in partnership with health associations such as the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Mississippi State Department of Health, and others to deliver the best health screenings and resources to our members.

Exercise Classes and Information: Exercise is vitally important to maintaining good health. That's why we encourage members to make exercise a regular part of their lives. We've offered classes at churches and information about how to exercise at home.
